Kombo is the duo of organist Ron Pedley and guitarist John Pondel, who originally played together in the group Uncle Festive, then separated to work on other projects.
They reunited as Kombo using the rhythm section of brothers Matt (bass) and Gregg (drums) Bissonette for the album The Big Blast, released in 1999. Cookin' Out followed two years later.
Brooklyn Cafe is a brand new release by the PLR Trio, an instrumental jazz organ trio made up of long-time members of Barry Manilow’s band, Ron Pedley, Michael Lent and David Rozenblatt. This album, the debut for this group, showcases five of Barry’s songs. For decades, Manilow’s music has proven to withstand the test of time and his beautifully crafted melodies hold up in any genre.
Ron has been a professional musician since the 1970's. Touring the world with many top artist such as Barry Manilow, Ann Margret and Air Supply.
Ron is also a founding member of the band Combo and Uncle Festive.
