Hi. Watched game seven of the Spurs/Heat final at Dave's famous barbeque. Wanted the Spurs but the Heat played better. Great food and hang with friends.
We had a good show in Sioux City the next evening. Then a 4 hour ride to Cedar Rapids. Tonight we travel to Evansville IN after the show.
Hi. While on the bus traveling from Mancester NH to Uncasville CT last night I listened to a pod cast of This American Life. The episode was called 'Hit The Road'. Fitting. It's the story of Andrew Forstophle. He's 23 years old and is walking across the country from Philadelphia to the West Coast. He planned as little as possible. Someone would put him up for the night. Or he slept outside. People cooked for him. And he carried PBJ sandwiches and jerky. He had no phone. His policy was to take no rides. He carried maps and some camping gear. He also carried a camera, recorder and a Mandolin.
Hi.
First blog entry on the new website. I'm stuck in Philadelphia staring at a 3 hour delay to Mancester NH. And a nice local IPA at the bar. It's called Hop Wollop.
Thought I'd share a story I read in the US Air in flight magazine. From a book called Here Is Where by Andrew Carroll.
